Writing.- After almost a decade since that Transportes Caudete to acquire their first vehicle, an IVECO, the excellent results obtained with these vehicles have led the company albacetense to acquire 30 units of the IVECO Stralis NP 460 powered by natural gas, responsible for converting the Transport fleet Caudete in a landmark sustainable for national and international transport.

With this operation, Transportes Caudete and IVECO reaffirm their commitment to the constant pursuit of a higher quality in their services, and corporate social responsibility, actively contributing to the sustainable reduction of pollutants in the transport, as well as driving more safely and efficiently.

During the awards ceremony, held in the facilities of Transportes Caudete, Rubén Pagán, Director of Transportes Caudete explained that “if something is shared with IVECO is the interest for a sustainable road transport, with the aim of reducing the carbon footprint of trucks that respect the environment. Our decision to bet on the Stralis NP 460 has been because we already know the brand, we have a number of IVECO among our fleet, and we are confident in its reliability and quality, but also because they are a reference echo in the heavy vehicles. With this model, it has significantly improved the control on the total cost of ownership, and there is a competitive differentiation and a technological evolution significant“.

The range of IVECO vehicles to natural gas allows, for the first time, to improve both sustainability and return on investment. With the IVECO Stralis NP 460, reducing the environmental impact of their road transport activities, as well as the consumption of fossil fuels and the costs associated with these energy costs. This model, fed with natural gas emits up to 70% less NOx, 99% less particulate matter and 90% less NMHC (as opposed to the limits of the EURO 6 standard). In addition, mitigate global warming by significantly reducing CO2 emissions (about 15% less in comparison with an equivalent diesel, up to 95% less biomethane).

IVECO Stralis NP 460: maximum power and efficiency with natural gas

The range Stralis NP of natural gas has won the award for ‘Vehicle Industrial Ecological of the Year’ Award by the National Transport 2017, chosen by a jury made up of 244 prominent entrepreneurs and professionals from the sectors of freight and passengers of all of the autonomous communities.

The IVECO Stralis NP 460 has an engine Cursor 13 natural gas Euro VI 12.9-liter that develops a power of 460 HP and a maximum torque of 1,900 Nm. This model offers the best power-to-weight of its class, the most fuel-efficient in missions of long distance and the costs of exploitation lower, with oil change intervals of 90,000 km

This model is, also, the first truck of natural gas-shift automated 12-speed, which ensures lower fuel consumption and greater comfort in driving.
