EUROPA PRESS.- The automotive company will invest in the start-up of its factory zaragoza a total of 6.2 million euros. Starting in September, will supply components to Opel.
An investment of 6.2 million euros and the creation of 110 jobs are great figures that manages the company Rhenus Automotive Systems Zaragoza to undertake a project of investment that will lead to the opening of a new production centre in the Polígono Industrial “El Pradillo”, in the town of zaragozana of Pedrola.
The project, already underway, is based on the construction of three production lines to assemble the sets, Front Axle, Rear Axle and Damper Set – Pier for all the variants of Opel Corsa 2019, the new generation of this model which will be manufactured entirely in the plant of PSA in Figueruelas. One of the lines is designed to produce the components of the future electric car that comes out of the factory.
The project was announced this Friday by the minister of Economy, Industry and Employment, Government of Aragon, Martha Gaston, after a meeting with the general director of Rhenus Automotive Systems Spain, Javier Valero.”For the Government of Aragon is always a matter of satisfaction that the promoters are set in Aragon to invest and that, ultimately, make the decision to do so.
We can say that we have a few new promoters, some manufacturers of components with experience that have directly contributed by Pedrola to supply the plant of Opel, PSA,” said the councillor, who highlighted the fact that Rhenus keep in mind the future production of the Corsa electric power in the plant of Figueruelas.
The own counselor said that since the Department of Economics is requesting the record of this company, which will feature support from Regional Incentives and with the Statement of Investment Interest Autonomous community which, predictably, will be approved next Tuesday at the meeting of the governing Council and represents a significant reduction of the administration time in processing.
Rhenus has already started work on its new plant in Pedrola, followed by a stage of selection and training of workers, with the objective that the plant is fully completed in this same year.
Depending on the mounting requirements of the joint to produce, each line will incorporate tools and machinery specific to perform the tasks of screwing and pressing of components with a high level of accuracy and repeatability, in addition to having an automatic record of the traceability of these actions of montage.Each production line is divided, for its part, in six major groups: machine, assembly line, screw guns, vision, systems, and containers of transport of the line.
